On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a furnished living room with Sat-TV, a spacious lounge enhanced by an original rustic fireplace and Sat-TV, a bathroom equipped for the disabled, a double bedroom (or twin beds) with Sat-TV and en-suite bathroom with shower. A wrought iron and stone staircase leads to the first floor where there are 2 double bedrooms or twin beds, which can also be transformed into triples, 1 double bedroom where an extra single bed is possible, each with its own en-suite bathroom with shower, an open fireplace and satellite TV. This superb villa, one of our best holiday home near Volterra, is located at the border of the ancient medieval village of Chianni, on a hill dominating the valley between Pisa and Volterra. Surrounded by forests, olive groves and vineyards, this enchanting holiday accommodation was built in the 1930s in Art Nouveau –Italian Liberty- style by the ancestor of today’s owner, a noble landowner. The house still maintains its original design, as can be seen from the façade, the balustrades and the window frames. Even the interior has maintained most of its 1930s atmosphere and style with antique furnishings, coats of arms, original decorations and frescoes.
As from most windows of the villa overlooking the valley, the garden enjoys a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside. The garden is furnished with barbecue and pergola for al fresco dining and a large swimming pool (12x4, open May-Sept). This villa with pool in Tuscany, is in an ideal location both for all those wishing to spend a quiet and pleasant vacation in the countryside, with the thermal springs and well-being centre of Casciana Terme at 7km, as well as for who wishes to visit most Tuscan art centres such as Pisa 40km, Volterra 35km, San Gimignano 45 km and Florence 70km. Shops and restaurants ca. 300 meters away.
The cleaning lump-sum also includes a maid cleaning service 6h/week (on Tuesday and Thursday). Elecxtricity is included until 200 kW. Above 200 kW it is on payment according to
