This tiny, old hamlet is located in Pomaia, a medieval village on the hills of the Etruscan coast. The nearest beaches are in Castiglioncello (14 km) or Vada (16 km).
The holiday resort enjoys a beautiful view over the Tuscan countryside as well as over the Tuscan Archipelago. The resort consists of an old, completely renovated, colonial house, with apartments and a restaurant, and of other holiday homes in smaller buildings. At guest’s disposal are a restaurant, a bar, a pizzeria, a table tennis table, a children playground, a laundry room, a barbecue, and a swimming pool (12x8 mt, open from May to October), as well as a children’s pool.

The world wide renowned Tibetan Buddhist centre, Tzong Khapa, is at 600 m, an opportunity for interreligious encounters and relaxation. Volterra is at 48 km, Pisa 60 km, Bolgheri at 40 km. For the youngest (and not only): we suggest the water park Acqua Village in Cecina (20 km) or the Cavallino Matto amusement park in Marina di Castagneto (40 km). On site it is possible to book excursions with mountain bikes, on horseback, or quad tours.

Monteverdi is a tiny medieval village at 350 meters above sea level, whose origins date back to the 8th century when the Palazzuolo monastery was built. It is a quiet place, where one can relax and enjoy stunning views. It is located on the hills along the Etruscan coast, at 27 km from Marina di Castagneto Carducci and Donoratico, famous beach villages. Bolgheri, world-wide famous for its wine, is at 30 km. Some other beautiful and interesting medieval towns such as Volterra, Massa Marittima and Populonia (Etruscan ruins) are at 40 km. Pisa 90 km.

Nice, comfortable and typical Tuscan lodgings in a lovely farmhouse, whose origins date back to the Middle Age, when the area was a precinct of two ancient Benedictine monasteries. The farmstead is located at just 12 km from the beaches of Castiglioncello, Rosignano, la Mazzanta and Vada on the Etruscan Coast. The farm, which produces an excellent olive oil since the 60s (today certified organic olive oil), consists of two large stone farmhouses, converted into hospitable homes with all the modern comforts.
In the main house there are 4 apartments and a swimming pool (9x5 m, open June- September, shower area); and at 300 m there is the second stone house, with a large apartment on the first floor, with private garden and round swimming pool (7.5 m diameter, open June-September, shower area).
At guest’s disposal there are also a table tennis, a children play ground, a washing machine, Wi-Fi connection, barbecue, car park and the delicious olive oil for a wonderful tasting experience. Welcome gift with some local produce, including the extra virgin olive oil of the farm.

Surrounded by a 4000 sqm park, where there is a fully equipped area for “al fresco dining” as well as a huge swimming pool (18 x 9 m, 140 cm deep, open from April to November) located in a natural panoramic position overlooking the vineyards, it is ideal for families with children thanks to the children pool (6x6 m 50 cm deep), the tennis table and the exclusive large quiet green park.

The villa interior preserves the original atmosphere, thanks to the antique cotto and stone floors, as well as the furnishing with precious details, recapturing the antique splendour. Beautiful, elegant villa on the Pisan hills, in a very central area for visiting Tuscany.
Located in a quiet position, and surrounded by a large garden (partially fenced), the villa enjoys beautiful views over the countryside, the olive grove and the adjacent wood. In the garden there is a swimming pool (3.5 x 3.5 m, 120 cm deep, open from April to October) with a solarium and a Jacuzzi.
The house, 200 sq m, is very large and can accommodate up to 6 guests. On three floors, two of which with access from the ground floor, the villa has a panoramic terrace, perfect for al-fresco dining, and a covered veranda with a large barbecue and wood-burning oven.
The other large veranda, on the lower ground floor, and which can be opened electronically, leads to one of the entrances of the house where there is a large space with living area (fireplace, Smart TV), worktop area, dining area with a 10-seat table, and large kitchenette (induction hob, oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, moka). A staircase leads to the upper floor with a hallway, and a double bedroom (160x200 cm bed) and en suite bathroom with shower, and access to the covered terrace with barbecue, wood-burning oven, and to another covered terrace with panoramic view.
