This lovely 18th century villa with swimming-pool in Val d’Orcia is located near Pienza, surrounded by the gently rolling hills of this magnificent countryside. This tastefully furnished villa can comfortably accommodate up to 15 people and consists of 2 large sitting rooms, 2 fully equipped kitchens and one dining room. There are six double bedrooms (of which 1 can be made up as twin), 2 single bedrooms and 8 bathrooms (various Jacuzzis in some, 2 with bathtubs, 3 with double shower heads and 3 fitted with showers of which one at the swimming-pool). There is air-conditioning in all the rooms.
Outside there is a large garden (5 hectares) fully equipped with outdoor furniture and barbecue for dining alfresco and a lovely 24x4 m saltwater swimming-pool (open Apr-Oct), of which 6 meters are indoors. This villa is in an ideal location both for those wishing to spend a quiet and pleasant vacation in the countryside, far from the madding crowd, and for those who have cultural and art interests with Montepulciano at 10 km, Montalcino at 15, Cortona at 25 and Siena at 40. Nearby the ancient spa towns of Bagno Vignoni and San Filippo. The surrounding farm estates offer the possibility of cheese, wine and olive oil tastings. The nearest shops and restaurants are in Pienza at 6 km.

This magnificent holiday villa with a heated swimming pool sits on one of the knolls at the foot of Pienza (3km) with a breathtaking 360-degree view over the Val d’Orcia countryside. The villa, 480 sq m, is a tastefully restored stone farmhouse, beautifully furnished in a fine country style, and can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people. It is surrounded by a large garden with gazebo, where one can relax at the lovely eco-friendly salt-water (not chlorine) swimming pool (18mx4, depth 1,4m – 1,5m, pool can be heated:fees applied for heating the pool), filtered by silver stones (a natural way of filtering); the liner is a dark grey which helps to maintain a warm temperature.

On the ground floor there is a kitchen (gas hob, electric oven, filter coffee machine, microwave oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher) with outside a large patio, 30 sq m, for al fresco dining while enjoying spectacular views of the pool and surroundings. A winding staircase leads up to a mezzanine with additional seating area over the kitchen.

It is a stunning country house, full of charm and warmth, with a well-cared garden, which surrounds the house, a spacious veranda for al fresco dining, and a large and exclusive swimming pool (14x7 m, open from May to October, max depth 3 m), with a deck positioned so as to enjoy the best views
At the pool there is a pergola with deck chairs and table offering shade. In a corner, steps lead up to a furnished terrace where you can enjoy a drink or lie on the hammock whilst enjoying the cool evening air. Underneath the raised terrace there is a changing room and bathroom with shower. A sauna, fridge and barbecue are the final elements for this relaxing outside area.
