Surrounded by the breathtaking Tuscan countryside, this country house offers an unforgettable holiday in the heart of Tuscany, only 12 Km from San Gimignano, 35km from Volterra, 45 km from Florence and Siena. The amazing medieval town of Certaldo (Boccaccio’s hometown) is only 2,6 km away. It’s also worth to visit Monteriggioni, the spectacular walled village near Siena. The nearest village is Badia Cerreto, and at 1,2 km there is a food shop, whereas at 2 km there are a restaurant as well as a tennis court and a horse riding centre.
The holiday home is immersed in 20 hectares of woodland, crossed by paths where you can walk or cycle in contact with nature and in total peace and quiet. You will probably meet some deer, pheasants and also some hawks. From the swimming pool (12x6 m, open from May to October) at the farmhouse, as well as from the property, you can enjoy a stunning view over Certaldo Alto. At guest’s disposal also a washing machine, internet Wi-Fi, barbecue area.
