This magnificent holiday villa with a heated swimming pool sits on one of the knolls at the foot of Pienza (3km) with a breathtaking 360-degree view over the Val d’Orcia countryside. The villa, 480 sq m, is a tastefully restored stone farmhouse, beautifully furnished in a fine country style, and can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people. It is surrounded by a large garden with gazebo, where one can relax at the lovely eco-friendly salt-water (not chlorine) swimming pool (18mx4, depth 1,4m – 1,5m, pool can be heated:fees applied for heating the pool), filtered by silver stones (a natural way of filtering); the liner is a dark grey which helps to maintain a warm temperature.

On the ground floor there is a kitchen (gas hob, electric oven, filter coffee machine, microwave oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher) with outside a large patio, 30 sq m, for al fresco dining while enjoying spectacular views of the pool and surroundings. A winding staircase leads up to a mezzanine with additional seating area over the kitchen.
Always on the ground floor, there is a double bedroom with private bathroom, with a rectangular Jacuzzi, just outside the room, a comfortable living room with fireplace and pool table, a double bedroom (which can be twin) with en-suite bathroom with shower, a living room with fireplace, TV Sat and CD/DVD player, library, games and another well equipped kitchen (electric oven, washing machine, fridge-freezer) accessed via a covered veranda and concluding a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with a double big shower.
On the first floor there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with a rectangular Jacuzzi bathtub, a double bedroom with a 170x170 Jacuzzi bathtub and separate shower room, and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with a double (150x80cm) shower stall.
Furthermore, the villa has air-conditioning in all rooms, internet Wi-Fi connection, a table tennis table, a laundry room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer, a kitchen garden with seasonal products, fruit plants, and a spectacular 100 sq m gym room equipped with a Tatami area for Pilates and Yoga, and also a punching bag and another area reserved to massages and general relax. The gym also has its own bathroom with shower.

This holiday villa in Val d’Orcia is in an ideal position for those wishing to spend a quiet vacation in the countryside but also a perfect point of departure for cultural and food and wine visits to locations such as Pienza, Montepulciano (10km), Radicofani, Castiglione d’Orcia, San Quirico d’Orcia, Montalcino (22km) and St. Antimo’s Abbey. Also nearby the thermal waters of Bagno Vignoni 15km, San Filippo and Chianciano Terme. Siena is 50km away.
Nearest shops and restaurants are in Pienza at 3 km.
Included in the quoted rental rates are a welcome dinner with typical Tuscan dishes personally prepared by the owners’ mamma and a daily maid (3h,common areas, not on Sunday), cleaning of the house on Wednesday and Saturday, change of towels on Wednesday.
