These rental apartments in Tuscany are part of a little medieval “borgo”, village, recently renovated and converted into a holiday farmhouse. Located in the wide region of south-east Siena known as the Sienese Clays (Crete Senesi) at just 2 km from Asciano the area offers a continuously changing landscape following the succession of seasons as well as the constant erosive phenomena of the clay. In springtime the hills are green as the wheat grows, whereas in summer it turns purple with the flowering of the French honeysuckle. This is the landscape that inspired the backgrounds of paintings and frescoes of the most prestigious Sienese painters of the past.
This farmhouse consists of 21 holiday apartments provided with independent heating and two garages, as well as many other services. Guest facilities are a swimming pool, a tennis court and possibility of visits, excursions and wine tasting. Numerous thermal spas are in the vicinity but the territory is more celebrated for its delicious products such as pecorino cheese, olive oil, wine and truffles.
