This old stone cottage was built in the 7th century and externally still preserves its original architecture, while inside it has been completely renovated and converted into an elegant, luxury home for holidays.
It is located at 7 km from Radda in Chianti, the heart of this beautiful wine region, and set in a huge wine estate with olive grove. Within this setting, this wonderful villa seems to rise like an antique tower dominating the picturesque hills. Here you can stroll in the garden, surrounded by innumerable flowers, and taste its figs or blackberries, or enter the kitchen garden and pick seasonal organic products. On a hot, summer’s day, you can take a dip in the pool (11 x 5 m, 150 cm deep, fenced for the safeguard of children), or decide to keep fit with the very well-equipped gym. Otherwise, you can just take a nap in the shade, read a good book or simply enjoy the silence of nature.

The house is located within a winery surrounded by its vineyard. This means, that during the day, the entire 9 hectares won’t be at your total availability, because there might be workers working around the cellar, as well as guests visiting the wine tasting rooms. Only the villa and pool are at your exclusive use.

The outdoor space consists of a swimming pool, gazebo with al fresco dining furniture, a roof terrace to enjoy the spectacular view over the charming Tuscan hills, and a children’s tree-house and playground. A 6 km driveway, a typical Tuscan dirt road, leads to the house.
The villa, a split-level building, accommodates up to 6 people and is very elegantly furnished. Ground floor: entrance, large, comfortable living room with an old wooden floor with floral design, 2 sofas, Sat-TV, Sky TV, DVD player, stereo, a decorative fireplace. Next to the living room there is a large, professional and fully equipped kitchen (large oven, microwave, grill, fridge with freezer, toaster, Espresso coffee maker, dishwasher, dishes and silverware, washing machine), ideal for cooking classes if requested, and a dining area.
Mezzanine floor: master bedroom with a king-size bed, TV and desk, and en-suite bathroom with free-standing rain head shower, a bathtub with shower head.
First floor: two double bedrooms. One bedroom with a king-size bed and TV, and en-suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, TV and desk, and en-suite bathroom with shower.

The villa is equipped with air conditioning (except in the kitchen), central heating and under floor heating in the bathrooms, Wi-Fi, a well-equipped gym room, fire extinguishers, first aid kit, courtesy line, alarm system, mosquito screens, 1 baby cot, 1 high chair, BBQ. Pets NOT allowed, Seasonal vegetables available in the kitchen garden. Welcome basket at your arrival. A daily Italian breakfast is included in the price.

Important house rules: due to the parquet and wooden floor, especially the decorated one in the living area, guests are kindly required to take their shoes off upon entering the house.
