In the medieval village of Benabbio, sitting on the mountains of Lucca at a height of 400 m above sea level, this rustic holiday accommodation offers guests not only breathtaking views but also a peaceful holiday, in touch with nature and far from everyday stress. For sports lovers, there are numerous hiking trails in the surroundings, a canyon park where you can practice rafting and canoeing, a suspension bridge and much more.
Originally a 16th-century convent, this unique holiday home is located in the heart of the village. Entrance is through an ancient arch with a wooden door, into a private courtyard, plummeting visitors directly into the beauty of the architecture. On the ground floor there are cellars and a room with a washing machine. The accommodation, 190 sq m, is on the first floor, with a beautifully furnished terrace with a barbecue and a fantastic scenic view.
The exposed wooden beams, the internal decoration and the rustic furniture will give visitors the sensation of living within an enveloping atmosphere. Accommodating up to 9 guests, the accommodation consists of a large living room with a dining area, a decorative fireplace, TV and DVD/CD player, a fully equipped kitchen (fridge-freezer, oven, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, microwave oven) with an antique decorative fireplace, three double bedrooms, one with added bunk bed and another with an additional single bed, and a bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Outside, at 20 m from the arch, there is the private furnished garden, with a gazebo, table, chair and a barbecue.
