This stunning holiday villa in Chianti is located near the village of San Casciano Val di Pesa, a tiny medieval hamlet at 15 km from Florence, renowned for its Chianti Classico red wine and olive oil. The villa is an historical listed mansion built during the second half of the 19th century, over an older building of the 15th century, and sits on the summit of a hill overlooking Florence. The villa consists of two apartments, each with independent entrance. In the smaller flat lives the owner, who will not disturb the guests’ privacy unless assistance is needed. At guest’s disposal the larger apartment on two floors with garden, swimming pool and barbecue. On the ground floor of the accommodation there is a frescoed hallway, a dining room with a beautiful patterned tile flooring, 2 frescoed sitting rooms and a large typical Tuscan kitchen with stone worktop along one wall. From the kitchen a door leads into a pretty flagstone courtyard decorated with terracotta pots and furnished for alfresco dining. From the hallway a steep, narrow staircase leads to the first floor where there are 3 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 1 single bedroom , 2 bathrooms fitted with bathtub and 1 bathroom fitted with shower. No smoking allowed inside the villa. On request cooking lessons, private chef or catering available.
